It’s hard to believe that the start of the school year is just around the corner! Here are our top tips on preparing for a new semester.
Treat Yourself
Once school is in full swing, you may not have as much time for yourself, so take a little time to treat yourself, whatever that means to you. Go to your favorite hometown restaurant before heading back to school, buy yourself some new shoes for the first day of classes, or indulge in a coffee and donuts date with your best friends.
Make Any Necessary Appointments
Before the school year gets going, make sure to get any appointments you need made over with! Schedule your check up at the doctors, get your teeth cleaned, and get a fresh new haircut.
Buy a Planner
In the age of digital calendars, not everyone is a fan of an old school planner, but I highly recommend getting one. My planner is jam packed with EVERYthing I need to know. Appointments, classes, holidays, birthdays, to-do lists, habit trackers, workout schedules...EVERYTHING!
Figure Out Your Schedule
You may not remember what classes you registered for back in the spring semester last year, so it’s a good time to take a look at your schedule and refresh your memory. Figure out where you need to be, and, if you can, maybe try running through your schedule once you’re on campus to make sure that you know exactly where all of your classes are.
Create A Budget
A new school year is the perfect time to create a budget...and stick to it!
